Baltics by Bike

The Baltic countries offer the cycle tourist a rugged landscape and more than just a peek into the culure and history of the three countries which only regained their independence from the Soviet Union not more than a decade ago.For us, we took in three weeks of pedal power, approximately 1000 km of Baltic coastline, inland roads surrounded by pine forests and peaceful, rolling countryside plus smiles, waves, friendly horn-honking and warm memories of the people in the region.

Our trip diary is currently in the works. After an unfortunate crash of our Palm Pilot, we lost our diary that we had written along the way and now we have to dig through our memory banks to create the writeup. Sigh. But enjoy the slideshow and hopefully we'll have the stories for you soon!
